Scope: The VNU Journal of Foreign Studies is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and book reviews on a wide range of topics in the fields of Linguistics. Foreign language education, International studies, Related social sciences and humanities. Submissions should address a significant research question and make a clear contribution to the field.

 

Format: All submissions should be in English and formatted according to the journal's guidelines, which can be found on the website. Submissions should be double-spaced, with one-inch margins, and use Times New Roman font size 12. All pages should be numbered.

 

Length: Research articles should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, including references, while review articles and book reviews should be between 1,500 and 2,500 words.

 

Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission system on the journal's website. All manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Please include a title page with the title of the manuscript, the names and affiliations of all authors, and the corresponding author's email address.

 

Originality: Submissions should be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors should acknowledge and cite all sources used in their research.

 

Copyright: Authors retain the copyright to their work, but by submitting a manuscript to the VNU Journal of Foreign Studies, authors grant the journal the right to publish the manuscript, distribute it, and make it available to the public. If the manuscript includes copyrighted material, authors must obtain the necessary permissions from the copyright holder before submission.

 

Ethical considerations: Authors should follow ethical guidelines for research and publication, including obtaining necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted material, disclosing any conflicts of interest, and ensuring that research involving human subjects is conducted with appropriate ethical standards.

 

Conflict of Interest: Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or the publication of the manuscript. Examples of conflicts of interest include financial relationships with organizations that could be affected by the research, personal relationships with individuals who could influence the research or publication, or other factors that could influence the objectivity of the research.

 

Peer review: All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors can expect to receive a decision on their submission within 4-6 months or more of submission.
