Publication ethics
PUBLICATION ETHICS STATEMENT
Responsibilities of Authors
- Reporting Standards: Authors should ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. All data and sources should be accurately presented and cited in the manuscript. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements are considered unethical and unacceptable.
- Confidentiality: Authors must respect the confidentiality of the review process and should not use information obtained during the peer-review process for personal gain.
- Article Authorship: All authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and should be listed as co-authors. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors are included and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript.
- Data Access and Retention: Authors may be asked to provide their data to the editor for review purposes or to comply with open data requirements. Authors should be prepared to provide public access to their data and retain the data for a reasonable number of years after publication.
- Originality and Acknowledgement of Sources: Authors should ensure that their work is original and properly cited. Proper acknowledgement should be given for any work or words taken from others.
- Declaration of Competing Interests: Authors should disclose any financial or personal relationships with other people or organizations that could be viewed as inappropriately influencing their work. Any sources of financial support for the research should be disclosed.
- Notification of Major Misstatements: If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they should promptly inform the editor and cooperate to retract or correct the mistake.

- Confidentiality: Reviewers must respect the confidentiality of the review process and not use information obtained during the review process for personal gain.
- Objectivity: Reviewers should provide objective and constructive feedback to the authors to improve the quality of the manuscript.
- Competence: Reviewers should only accept manuscript review invitations for which they have the necessary expertise.
Responsibilities of Editors
- Fairness: Editors should evaluate manuscripts based on their scientific merit and ensure that all submissions are treated fairly and without discrimination.
- Confidentiality: Editors should respect the confidentiality of the review process and not disclose any information about the manuscript or review process.
- Disclosure: Editors should disclose any conflicts of interest and ensure that all manuscripts are evaluated objectively without any personal bias.
- Publication Decisions: Editors should ensure that all publications are based on the quality of the manuscript and not on the author’s race, gender, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics.
- Any breach of these ethical standards will be addressed with appropriate actions, which may include retraction of the published article or a ban on future submissions from the offending author.
Declaration of Competing Interests
- All authors submitting manuscripts to our journal are required to declare any financial or personal relationships with individuals or organizations that could be viewed as potentially influencing their work.
- Authors are required to disclose all potential conflicts of interest at the time of submission, and the information will be kept confidential while the paper is under review. If a manuscript is accepted for publication, the conflicts of interest will be disclosed in a footnote on the first page of the article.
- The editors of our journal reserve the right to reject papers if any potential conflicts of interest are not disclosed or if the disclosed conflicts are judged to be potentially biasing the work.
