ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC) REGULATIONS

1. Fee Payment Principles

a) No Submission Fee: No charges are incurred during the submission, desk review, or peer review assignment stages when authors submit manuscripts via the Journal's official website (https://jfs.ulis.vnu.edu.vn/).

b) Payment Upon Formal Acceptance: The Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after the manuscript has successfully passed the double-blind peer review process with approval from two reviewers and formal acceptance by the Editorial Board.

c) Third Reviewer Engagement: In the event that one of the two peer reviewers rejects the manuscript, a third reviewer will be appointed based on practical assessment. Authors will not incur any additional fees for this third review.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC) Rates

3. Payment Procedure

• Step 1: Upon formal acceptance of the manuscript, the Journal will issue a payment notification via email to the corresponding author.
• Step 2: The author is required to settle the payment within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the notification email. Failure to pay or respond within this timeframe will result in the rejection of publication.
• Step 3: Upon completing the transaction, the author must send a confirmation email attaching proof of successful payment/receipt to the Journal's official email address. Once verified with the Department of Planning and Finance, the Journal will send a confirmation email and proceed with the subsequent steps.

4. Payment Method

Authors are to transfer the publication fee to the official bank account of the University of Languages and International Studies, VNU, with the details below:

5. Effective Date

• The APC policy applies to all manuscripts submitted to the Journal’s official website since October 1^st, 2026.
• Manuscripts submitted prior to this date remain subject to the previous regulations (no publication fee).
