Submission policies | VNU Journal of Foreign Studies

1. As a natural development from its predecessor VNU Journal of Science: Foreign Studies, VNU Journal of Foreign Studies continues to be an official, independent peer-reviewed publication of the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS) under Vietnam National University (VNU). VNU Journal of Foreign Studies publishes bimonthly (2 Vietnamese and 4 English editions p.a. from 2019 onward) with research articles in linguistics, language/foreign language teaching, international studies, and related social sciences and humanities. Only manuscripts previously unpublished or under no consideration for publication elsewhere are acceptable.

2. All submissions should be typed in Vietnamese or English (at least 10 pages, i.e. approx. 4,000 words for a research article and 5 pages, i.e. approx. 2,000 words for a discussion article), displayed in Times New Roman font, size 12, Single spacing, printed on an A4 paper, left margin 2.5cm, right margin 2.5cm, top margin 3.5cm, bottom margin 3cm. All pictures or photos must be clear and numbered with a title below.

3. References should be clarified in the main text and arranged according to the alphabetical order by author's last name in References part. References conform to APA7 standards (please refer to the website: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines)

4. Tables, images, diagrams and charts in the article must be clear and numbered in the order in which they appear in the article. Sources and names of the images, diagrams and charts in the article must also be indicated.
