Ở Việt Nam, các nghiên cứu về tiếng Hàn, đào tạo tiếng Hàn nói chung và biên phiên dịch tiếng Hàn nói riêng chưa bàn nhiều đến vấn về đánh giá bản dịch. Một số mô hình đánh giá của học giả nước người đã được đề cập đến nhưng việc áp dụng chúng vào thực tiễn còn gặp nhiều hạn chế. Bài viết này đặt mục tiêu: (1) xem xét cơ sở của tiêu chí đánh giá bản dịch, (2) khảo sát thực tiễn đánh giá và các tiêu chí được sử dụng tại các cơ sở đào tạo ngành Ngôn ngữ Hàn Quốc định hướng biên phiên dịch ở Việt Nam, từ đó (3) đề xuất bộ tiêu chí đánh giá phù hợp. Kết quả nghiên cứu đề xuất bộ 7 tiêu chí gồm: (1) Độ chính xác về nội dung, (2) Độ chính xác về ngôn ngữ, (3) Kỹ năng tổng hợp và tái cấu trúc thông tin, (4) Khả năng xử lý thuật ngữ chuyên ngành, (5) Phong cách và giọng điệu, (6) Hiệu quả thời gian và phương pháp dịch thuật, (7) Khả năng phản hồi và chỉnh sửa.
