Tiếp nối Bài 6 trình bày các sơ khởi nhận thức về: (a) tính động trong tương liên văn hoá-giao tiếp, (b) sự đồng hoạt trong nội bộ và giữa các loại thành tố, và (c) sự hướng định của qui trình vận hành thực tế và qui trình nghiên cứu thực nghiệm, bài viết này giới thiệu một ma trận được đề xuất cho nghiên cứu ‘Ngôn ngữ và văn hoá trong tương tác’ (LCI) với bảng qui xét tương liên giữa các thành tố tác động và các thành tố biểu hiện được đặt ở tiền diện. Bài viết cũng đưa ra hai mô hình qui trình cho nghiên cứu LCI, trong đó, mô hình A chỉ tập trung vào các biểu đạt văn hoá-dụng học và mô hình B tập trung vào cả các chiến lược ngôn ngữ-dụng học và các biểu đạt văn hoá-dụng học.
