Tóm tắt

Sự phát triển nhanh chóng trong quan hệ giao thương và đầu tư giữa Việt Nam và Đài Loan (Trung Quốc) đã thúc đẩy dòng người di cư từ Việt Nam sang Đài Loan (Trung Quốc), và ngược lại. Theo số liệu thống kê của Sở Di trú Đài Loan (Trung Quốc) vào tháng 6 năm 2024, các gia đình cư dân mới người Việt đang gia tăng nhanh chóng tại Đài Loan (Trung Quốc), dẫn đến sự gia tăng số lượng cư dân thế hệ hai có cha hay mẹ là người Việt. Bằng phương pháp phỏng vấn sâu với 10 cư dân mới người Việt và 17 em là cư dân thế hệ hai của các gia đình cư mới người Việt, nghiên cứu này tìm hiểu việc sử dụng, duy trì và phát triển “ngôn ngữ di sản” tiếng Việt tại các gia đình đa văn hóa Đài - Việt, từ đó đưa ra các kiến nghị nhằm phát triển và bảo tồn “ngôn ngữ di sản” tiếng Việt tại Đài Loan (Trung Quốc).
