NAVIGATING THE SKIES: ASSESSING THE ELECTRONIC DICTIONARY OF AIRPORT TERMINOLOGY ON BOOK CREATOR
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research is based on the results of a survey conducted with 25 students from a state university in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The research method employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The study used comprehensive surveys, direct interviews, and document collection methods with a group of non-English major students. The data was described, recorded, and explained from the perspective of the survey participants. The data collection methods used included questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, student-created dictionary projects, and online student feedback. The results indicated that there was a positive attitude towards the integration of the English-Vietnamese Bilingual Airport Terminology Dictionary with images into language and foreign language teaching. This was consistent with the clear practical needs and preferences of the majority of students. Furthermore, the findings showed that students greatly valued this project because they greatly benefited from using the dictionary for self-learning and research purposes.
